At this point, the fibres may be blended with organic cotton, TENCEL, or other sustainable materials for added softness, depending on the towel’s desired texture.
3. Weaving into Towels
The hemp yarn is woven into towel fabric, typically using a looped or terry weave that provides superior absorbency. Hemp fibres are naturally antibacterial, moisture-wicking, and mildew-resistant, making them ideal for bath towels, hand towels, and even beach towels.
